Pred pár mesiacmi sa postupne takmer všetky krajiny sveta stretli s epidémiou na ktorú museli rýchlo reagovať. Z hektického života každodenných dedlajnov, neustáleho pracovného kolobehu, z chodenia z práce do práce, za prácou, kvôli práci, pre prácu kade tade sme sa dostali k tomu, že sedíme doma. Keď už sme takmer zaspali na vavrínoch domácej lenivosti, situácia sa začala zo dňa na deň meniť, opatrenia uvoľňovať, ulice zapĺňať , inštitúcie sa otvárať. A tak sa z ničoho nič objavil v Pistoriho paláci voľný termín na usporiadanie výstavy, ktorý bolo možné vyplniť...

A preto je teraz čas sa na nič nehrať. Nie je potrebné nasilu hľadať dodatočne súvzťažnosti medzi dielami, ktoré už aj tak hovoria samé za seba. Aj preto je veľmi oslobodzujúce priznať, že výber vystavených diel bude subjektívny a praktický. Spomenuli sme si na ľudí, ktorých sme dlho nevideli, ozvali sa tým, ktorý sú blízko, alebo aj tým, ktorý sú ďaleko a chýbajú nám. Oslovili sme ich, či nemajú čas a chuť vystaviť niečo, čo by chceli práve teraz ukázať svetu...niečo nové, staré, dokončené, nedokončené, niečo čo sme v Bratislave ešte neukázali, alebo niečo čo sme už ukázali, malo to úspech a máme chuť to ukázať znova...

A few months back, almost every country in the world faced a pandemic to which they had to react quickly. From hectic life of everyday deadlines, a nonstop work cycle, going from work to work, at work, because of work, for work, we were suddenly sitting at home. When we almost got used to the comforts of our homes, the situation started changing quickly, preventive measures got lifted, streets filled up with people, institutions opened up once more. Out of nowhere, there was a free schedule for art exhibitions at Pistori palace, one that we could fill.

It’s the right time to stop playing. It’s unnecessary to forcefully search for relationships between art pieces that already speak for themselves. That’s why it’s very liberating to admit that the selection of art pieces on display will be very subjective and practical. We thought of people who we haven’t seen for a very long time, called those who are close by but also those who are far away and we miss them. We asked them if they have the time and willingness to show something to the world. Something new, old, finished, unfinished, something we haven’t displayed in Bratislava or something that we have already displayed, and they want to show it again because it was popular.
