Toto miesto si pamätám. Zvyklo existovať, viem, že som stála priamo tu.
Nachádzame sa v medzipriestore. V neurčenom čase, pravdepodobne nedávnom. V okamihu svetov, ktoré sú na pokraji zrútenia alebo sa možno už zrútili - a od ich rozpadu premýšľajú zúčastnení umelci*kyne o svetoch, ktoré by ich mohli nahradiť. Pre nové však stále nesú staré - artefakty minulosti. Artefakty skúseností pretvárajú už existujúce scény v novom špekulatívnom univerze a nesú sa v prenesenej podobe - zobrazujú ich časovú, tekutú, digitálnu, materiálnu alebo zvukovú formu.
Diela Lenky Adamcovej, Luki Essender, Dominika Styka a Veroniky Žilinskej vychádzajú z osobných zážitkov, spomienok alebo reálnych situácií. Ich tvorba reaguje na naliehavú potrebu nájsť bezpečný priestor, existovať v rámci súčasných zaužívaných mechanizmov, ktoré sa menia len veľmi pomaly. Skupinová výstava what saw leaking through the floor premieňa galerijný priestor na prechod medzi vonkajším a vnútorným, pričom nás berie na osobnú cestu toho, čo môže, alebo nemusí po tomto kolapse vyvstať.
Toto miesto existuje.

There is something I remember about this place. It used to exist, I remember standing right there.
Located in the in-between space. Time unspecified, most likely very recent. In a moment of worlds that are on the verge of collapse or perhaps have already collapsed – and since their breakdown, the participating artists think of worlds that could replace them. But for the new they still carry the old – the artefacts of the past. Artefacts of experiences reshape pre-existing scenes in a new speculative universe and are carried in a reimagined form – displaying their temporal, fluid, digital, material or sonic form.
The works of Lenka Adamcová, Luki Essender, Dominik Styk and Veronika Žilinská rise from personal experiences, memories or real-life situations. Their work stems from the most urgent need to find a safe space, to exist within the current established mechanisms that change only very slowly. The group exhibition what you saw leaking through the floor transforms the gallery space into a transition between the external and the internal, taking us on a personal journey of what may, or may not, emerge after this collapse.
