Marek Štuller, Filip Bielek, Emil Softič a Christián Frank prezentujú na výstave v Bohéma galérii svoje sochy a objekty z ich najnovšej tvorby. Nájdeme tu banánové krabice a prepravky ovocia s Bielekovými lyrizovanými textami - odkazmi poukazujúcimi na detskú prácu vo svete, Softičove „nezmyselné“ kinetické objekty, Frankove „demolitické“ umenie a Štullerovu trojhlavú drevenú chiméru s plastovými hlavami Edwarda Snowdena, Juliana Assangea a Gréty Thunberg. Všetky diela spája istá miera znepokojenia nad budúcnosťou ľudstva ako i téma práce, súčasnej i tej v budúcnosti, nevyhnutnej na záchranu planéty.
Autorom textu k výstave je Róbert Mihály: „Súčasný hegemonický poriadok dozaista nemá jediné centrum, ktorého narušením by bolo možné narušiť jeho totalitu. Ponáša sa viac na rizóm či viachlavého draka, ktorému pri odseknutí hlavy vyrastú ďalšie dve. Nesmieme však zabúdať, že sa vždy jedná o sériu opatrení a protiopatrení, pohybov a protipohybov, a to tak na strane moci, tak i na strane odporu. A ak chce byť odpor v tomto zmysle úspešný, nemôže len zrkadliť zavedené opatrenia a inštitúcie spoločnosti prostredníctvom ich negácie, ale podrobiť ich dôslednej kritike a navrhnúť novú možnosť. To nevyhnutne znamená opustiť vzorce imperiálneho spôsobu myslenia na každej úrovni ako i opustenie idealizovaných zápasov minulého storočia. Tak ako klimatická či ekonomická kríza, tak i súčasná pandémia nám ukázali, že problémy globálneho rozsahu nie je možné riešiť izolovane na poli národných štátov. A odpoveďou na nacionalistické politiky strachu, ktoré ľudí presviedčajú, že jedinou zárukou ich privilégií je fakt, že sa narodili v určitej krajine, preto musí byť rozvíjanie nových foriem solidarity, organizácie, subverzívnej kreativity či spravodlivosti pre čo najväčšiu možnú časť spoločenstva. Pretože tak ako globálne otepľovanie, choroby či fetišizovaná logika trhu prechádzajú skrz-naskrz štátnymi hranicami, tak nemôžu rešpektovať vytýčené hranice ani dôsledná spoločenská kritika či idey kreatívneho odporu. A preto tá najvýznamnejšia práca budúcnosti v tomto zmysle spočíva v premene nepredstaviteľného na možné a reálne.“
Marek Štuller, Filip Bielek, Emil Softič, and Christián Frank present their sculptures and other of their newest works at the exhibition in Bohéma gallery. We can find here banana boxes and fruit crates with Bielik’s lyric texts which point out the problem of child labor around the world, Softič’s „meaningless“ kinetic objects, Frank’s „demolithic“ art, and Štuller’s three-headed wooden chimera with plastic heads of Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, and Greta Thunberg. All works are interconnected through the level of concern with the future of mankind and the theme of work necessary to do to save the planet in the present and the future.
Róbert Mihály had written a text to accompany the exhibition: „The current hegemonic order does not have one center, disruption of which would violate its totality. It looks more like a rhizome or a dragon with multiple heads, which grows two more after you cut one off. We cannot forget that it is always a series of measures and anti-measures, movements and counter-movements both on the side of power and resistance. If the resistance wants to be successful it cannot only display said measures and social institutions through their negation, but it has to submit them to a thorough critique and suggest a new possibility. It necessarily means to leave the patterns of the imperial way of thinking on every level and the idealized struggle of the last century. Just as climate or economic crises, the current pandemic has shown that global problems cannot be resolved individually on the political state level. The nationalistic fear politics convince people that the only guarantee of their privilege is the fact they were born in a certain county. Therefore, we have to develop new forms of solidarity, organization, subversive creativity, or justice for as large part of society as possible. Because just as global warming, illnesses or fetishized logic of the market seep through borders, consistent social criticism or ideas of creative resistance cannot respect these borders either. So the most important work for the future is the change of the unimaginable into possible and real.”
