Pre tvorbu Daniely Krajčovej (1984) je nepochybne zásadným východiskom médium kresby, ktoré v nej hraje rovnako, ako ostatné autorkou používané prostriedky, akými sú animácia, alebo video, veľmi špecifickú sociálnu úlohu. Už dlhšiu dobu sa autorka vo svojich projektoch zaoberá kritickými situáciami rôznych sociálnych skupín, pričom v poslednej dobe sa sústredí na tú, ktorej strasti sama zdieľa, a to na situáciu matiek. Úloha matky v zmysle plného úväzku, ktorý sa autorka snaží skĺbiť so svojou umeleckou činnosťou, je ale tiež odrazovým mostíkom pre širšiu reflexiu zahŕňajúcu súčasný spoločenský kontext materstva a s ním spojených problémov.

Kresba je síce väčšinou považovaná za intímny vyjadrovací prostriedok, viacmenej v diele Daniely Krajčovej naopak naberá až monumentálne rozmery, spojené s dôrazom na jej komunikačný potenciál. Či už sa jedná o animačnými prostriedkami ovplivnené série kresieb založených na naratívnej  výpovedi sprostredkovaných materských skúseností, alebo o výskum situácií, prvkov a miest, realizovaných pri prechádzkach s deťmi po okolí.

The dominant point of departure of Daniela Krajčová’s (1983) oeuvre is undoubtedly the medium of drawing, which nevertheless plays, much as the rest of the means used by the artist, such as animation or video, a very specific social role. Krajčová has been dealing with critical situations of various social groups in her projects for a while now, recently concentrating on the group whose hardships she has been sharing, the situation of mothers. The role of mother in the sense of a full time job which the artists strives to reconcile with her artistic efforts is also a point of departure for a broader reflection involving the contemporary social context of motherhood and a number of problems that go with it. Drawing is usually considered an intimate medium of expression, in Daniela Krajčová’s works it nevertheless assumes dimensions that border on the monumental, along with an accentuation of their communicative potential. These involve series of drawing influenced by animation and based on the narrative expressiveness of the related experience of motherhood, as well as investigation of situations, elements, and spaces realized while taking her children out for a stroll in the neighborhood.
