Lucie Mičíková sa venuje projektom realizovaným v kresbe, maľbe a site-specific inštaláciách. Tematizuje efemérne a krehké štruktúry, ktorými spochybňuje myšlienky celistvosti a trvácnosti. Dočasnosť a premenlivosť reflektuje pomocou performatívnych postupov, niekedy v spolupráci s architektmi, sociológmi a pod. Jej umelecké myslenie vychádza z metafory a vlastných interpretácií dynamickej a komplexnej reality.
Lucie Mičíková (1986, Tábor) študovala v rokoch 2015 až 2016 na Vysoké škole uměleckoprůmyslové v Prahe, v rokoch 2006 až 2016 na Vysokej škole výtvarných umení v Bratislave. Titul Mgr. Art získala v Ateliéri „IN“ Ilony Németh na Katedre intermédií. Zúčastnila sa rezidenčných pobytov v Taliansku, Nemecku, Maďarsku, Rakúsku, má za sebou mnoho medzinárodných skupinových výstav. Z posledných samostatných prezentácií spomeňme Waveplane v Altan Klamovka v Prahe (2018) alebo Silver Wave v The Regional Art Gallery v Liberci (2017; spolu s Martinom Zvěřinom a Veronikou Přikrylovou). Žije v Prahe.
Lucie Mičíková’s projects span the media of drawing, painting and site-specific installation. She subverts the ideas of wholeness and permanence by focusing on ephemeral and fragile structures in her works. Collaborating with architects, social scientists and others, she reflects on transience and mutability by using performative approaches. Her artistic thinking rises from metaphors and interpretations of an dynamic and complex reality.
Lucie Mičíková (1986, Tábor) has been a student of the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague between 2015 and 2016, and a student of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava between 2006 and 2016. She received her MFA in Ilona Nemeth’s Atelier „IN“ in the Department of Intermedia. She has been an artist in residency in Italy, Germany, Hungary, Austria and has taken part in many international group exhibitions. Her last independent shows to mention were Waveplane in Altan Klamovka in Prague (2018) or Silver Wave in The Regional Art Gallery in Liberec (2017; together with Martin Zveřina and Veronika Přikrylová). She lives in Prague.
